Account deletion

You can ask us to delete your iMara account at any time, from the app or by email. For details on the information we hold, see the privacy policy.
1. In the iMara app
In the iMara mobile app, open the Profile tab, “Account” section, then tap “Delete my account” and confirm the deletion.
2. By email
Write to info@imarashop.ca from the email address linked to your account, with the subject “Account deletion”. We reply within 30 days. Writing from the account address lets us check that the request comes from you.
3. What happens after the request
Your profile is anonymised and your account is deactivated in 30 days. You can cancel the request at any time before the deadline.
4. What is deleted or anonymised
- Your profile: your name, WhatsApp number, photo, notes, email, password and the link to your Google account are erased or anonymised, and the account is deactivated.
- Your favourites, cart, notifications and login sessions are deleted.
- Your reviews remain visible, but anonymously.
5. What is kept
- Your past orders are kept, for our accounting and legal obligations, with the details entered at the time of purchase (name, WhatsApp number and pickup city). The retention period is the one described in the privacy policy.
